Lightning on the cane fields.

What a fool I was, gettn lost in the sugar cane fields, It's gettn dark out, the hail cutting me, only source of light from the fierce lightning, God is flicking the lights
on and off, I do what anybodys would do, lay down and watch the lightning strike and the rain pour'n.
Is a slaves life eva done?

100,000 Poets for change.

Saturday 24th September 2011. ( This was Yesterday.)

100,000 poets for change is a worldwide event.
On the date above, at 7:00 PM, poets from all over the world
read at the same time.  Kenya, Tibet, Brazil, Canada, Omaha Nebraska and more!
My mom participated in Lafayette, at the ACA.
The event here in Lafayette lasted from 7 to 11!
Thankfully, Mama was one of the first.

The idea is to write poems about a change that you would like to see in the future.

Green House. September Special!

Hello!
After 5 long months,we have finally bought a home.
We scored a 1,200 square foot eco-house, University of Lafayette ( UL ) students are building our house as we speak, 1,200 Square feet is pretty small, but we lived in NYC for so long in a 1,200~ square foot apartment, we know how to make this work!  They are calling it "The Event House" The house is very eco-friendly, as you can see here: Theeventhouse.com

We expect to have a christmas tree in our new home, here is a digital image of what it will look like when it is done

Jackson

P.S
Sadly, we didn't get this house, it fell through.
However now we are happily renting a new place.

Da schnagly Toof!

Last night my tooth fell out!
The problem was that my permanent tooth came in before the baby tooth came out. So the poor little tooth was getting squeezed between two adult teeth, making it not as loose as it could be!   The dentist said he might have to pull it out if it is not out by the next visit. I did not want that to happen!   So over the next few months I wiggled it a lot!   I got it really really loose. The only hard part was getting it out of my mouth...

Last night, around 3:00 in the morning, I was half asleep, my mouth against the pillow, I felt something in my mouth,  IT WAS MY TOOTH!!   I fell back asleep, and the next morning, gave everyone a happy surprise!
