Herbs!

Good morning world and all who inhabit it!
When I was in Louisiana I found out what I want to learn!
Herbology!

You know: The study of healing with plants!
And since I'm in a good mood, I'll share one of my cures!

Mosquito bites:

You need: Peppermint. It could be peppermint oil or even toothpaste!

Instructions:
Put about two drops of the peppermint oil on a q-tip Or napkin
If you don't have P. oil use one drop of P. toothpaste.
Rub the q-tip/napkin on the bite.
In about 15-30 min It will stop itching.
In about 30-60 min it will start to go down.
And in about a day it will disappear!

Thanks for reading!
Your doctor,
Jackson

Baclava!!!!

Hello people of earth who own computers!
You know,
I had a doctors appointment on the 22'nd ( Today's the 27'th )
The doctor was really nice!
After Me and Mom got out of the doctors we went to Fatoosh. ( A middle eastern restaurant in Brooklyn )
At Fatoosh we both got a pice of Baclava! ( Honey, nuts all packed together with flaky layers of bread on top! )
It looked like this. ( Left. )
The top was flaky and the middle was sweet!
To create flweet! ( Flaky + Sweet = Flweet! The L is silent )

That's why Baclava is my favorite dessert!

http://www.madmuseum.org/

There is a link to the museums website.

This exhibit is called slash
paper under the knife

A strict story about slash
paper under the knife:

Well me and Mom wanted to take some pics in slash
paper under the knife for this post so we took one.
Then as we were about to take another, ( This was on no flash. )
A security guard walked up to us really fast then said that there was no photo taking in the museum!
None!, At all!
Not even with no flash!
N-O-N-E!

That security guard was mean!

Thanks for reading my Feb. special!
Love,
Jackson

PS
I got those pics from the MAD website.

Conquered my fears!

Yesterday I went to the National history museum!
We went to see the planetarium movie called " Journey to the stars " Narrated by none other than Whoopi goldberg !
Then we went to see the silk road exhibit.
The planetarium was a 100 foot tall ball that hung from the ceiling by really strong metal pipes.
( Don't worry! )
And we had to look up at the ceiling of the ball to even see the show!
The inside of the ball had about 80 seats it seemed.
All in a ring.
The ceiling was so high, it looked like the sky!

The last time I've been to the planetarium was when I was 3.
It was with my Uncle.
I cried 'cause I thought it was going to be loud.
He had to take me out after he already paid the tickets!
After that I had a planetarium phobia.
Until yesterday...

Your brave friend,
Jackson

Food inc. The documentary!

Food inc. is a documentary about where our food really comes from!
Tyson, Perdue, those are some chicken products that you do not want to buy.
Lets start with Tyson,
Tyson keeps there chicken in really dark houses so they never see sunlight!
They do that because the chickens grow faster in the dark.
Its all mass producing!
The chickens can't even walk three steps before they tump over!
Then there is Perdue ,
Perdue pretty much does the same thing, Perdue is acually a perdon't.
But even more cruel!
Once the chickens are ready for slaughter,
( This is even more painful to write then read isn't it? )
They literally throw them into the trucks!
So do not buy Tyson or Perdue!
Your sad friend,
Jackson.

P.S
I have a new bedtime rule!
As long as Im reading something I can say up till 10:00Pm!!!
Cool!

Movie review

Da Da da da da da!
JACKSON'S MOVIE REVIEW!
This time we are reviewing October sky.
I give it a 99.9%
This movie was heartbreaking in a way..
There were a lot of emotional parts between Dad and Son.
The plot was that there was this town that was really poor!
It was a coal town with a coal mine.
Few people survived in those mines.
But it was Homer's Dad's life!
With him the mine always comes first.
He wanted Homer to be a mine worker like he is.
But Homer wanted to be a rocket scientist!
He wanted to launch small rockets into the air!
( By small I mean model sized. )
And the whole movie is about him and three other boys don't want to be coal miners!
